The Meaning of the Last Judgment

We must remember that we did not create ourselves, a very egocentric way of looking at the world. Obviously. Creative ability lies within the mind, and so whatever we create we believe in, but that does not necessarily make it true in the Mind of God. The Last Judgment is performed by our Brothers, not by God, and is not a punishment but rather healing. "The Last Judgement might be alled a process of right evaluation. It simply means that everyone will finally come to understand what is worthy and what is not." We must separate what is true and what is false. "When everything you retain is lovable, there is no reason for fear to remain with you. This is your part in the Atonement."

"God did not create a meaningless world."

For this exercise, I search for things that disturb me, and say "god did not create this, so it is not real." Events and disturbances that are meaningless do not exist in God's world; he did not create meaningless things; we did. With so many seemingly awful things going on in the world, these sentiments provide a certain amount of relief.
